My Pet Peeve
Could someone please explain to me why it is so hard to return a shopping cart to the cart return area? This loose cart phenomenon has worked its way up to the top of my pet peeves list.
This is a photo that I took at my local Target:
Judging from this photo, you would assume that a cart return area was not available or it was located across the parking lot. Not so. It was only 5 feet away from all of these carts! What gives!? I've seen people wrestle with carts to lodge them onto a curb when they could have just walked the cart to the return area in less time. On more than one occasion I've been tempted to ask one of these people what in the world they are thinking. Is it really that hard to walk the extra 5 feet to put your cart away? I don't get it...
Do you have a random pet peeve? If so, please share!
